Presentation
A revolution is on the way in the world of the art, which
can be compared to the one caused by the advent of the photography
at the end of the last century. The hero of this revolution is
the graphic computer, today umeasurable potential, ready to drain
off the creativity of the artists in the global village.
Just born, the photographie interrested and influenced painting,
transforming the shapes of artist expression and putting into
crisis (english?) its meaning and purpose. (significant and final)
In all the fine art movements from the 1800-1900, from the Impressionists,
to Futurists, Dadaists and Surrealists, the new art of photography
led to the change the point of view and the technique: sustaining
models (realty) inspiring effects, rendering clear movement,
faithfully reproducing reality.
The rapidity with which a democratic public, although prepared
(polluted?) by the bombardment of special effects of the cinema,
of television and the press, have changed their tastes, their
cultural vision, so that the simple reproduction of reality or
the improbable deviation of the avant guarde, characterize contemporary
art as miserable and disatisfactory. Digital painting is the
future: rich in content, effects, visual perfection, history
(thanks to the the potentiality of the medium with which comes
the product), generous enough to reach (avaible) a larger public
(thanks to the reproducability), however since precious thanks
of the material and the craft techniques with which it comes
to materialization It is a fact digital paintingcan no more considered
to be " the little sister " (even though the older
sister) in the field of multimedia: just another other thing,
as a book can be to a film.
Taking again some affirmations contained in the Manifesto of
Motives and Intentions, to affirm that digitalism is a movement
directed toward the future but with a profound memory of the
past. Not to be considered different, like a new technique or
medium, but like a new aesthetic, without restrictions of style
or influence, an image of a way of life radically changing in
its rhythms, in relation to its physical space and mental extentions
of interest and consciousness. . . although experienced like
frantic and alienated, we consider the digital approach to be
profoundly humanistic, with the human the center of the creative
process, with exalted magic abilities. The machine, like a brush,
or the wings of Icarus, faithfully remains an obtuse instrument.
Digital painting is the art, or at least some part of it.
A diverse technique of expression that serves the fantasy of
the artist, who has chosen this medium of tomorrow to represent
eternal value.

Exhibition
The show is the first grand moment of consciousness of digitalism
as it extends an " oilmark " [oilstain] in all countries
around world.
It attempts to reflect on the actual time transition caused by
the advent of digital technology. At the threshold of the 3rd
millenium, digital technology has modified the field of photography
even more, as much as it has created a new art, because digital
paintings is not synthesis of the precedent, but a new art form
that heads toward the future. Never before now has there been
a gathered state of over 200 works by world-proven and realized
artists made possible positioned to define the [pioneers, originators]
of this art.
Never before now has there been a gathered state of over 200
works by world-proven and realized artists made possible positioned
to define the [pioneers, originators] of this art.
That said, the work displayed was supplied by all of the major
exponents
of the movement (Bert Monroy, Lorenzo Paolini, Debi Lee Mandel,
Cher
Threinen Pendarvis, Dominique de Bardonnèche and Laurence
Gartel), winners,
among others, of the first international awards in the world
most prestigious exhibitions, cause for paintings, 3D, photo-manipulations,
visions (illusions), which established
narratives of admirable legitimacy, proving that they possess
how far one can go with a mouse in hand and, in part, replace
paintbrushes and cameras.
It is important that this show consists also of a gathering,
for the first time in the world, of a unified exposition, of
all the artists gave in force in this entire movement.
The show will articulate in part an exposition, in which there
will be
presented the work of these artists and in part information,
in which one
will find a space with 15 workstations where visitors will be
able to experience digital painting, guided and accompainied
by the artists presenting in the show, and
discover the technique and potential of this art form.
A show that wants to strongly integrate with the public, in a
constant rapport, between artist and visitor, thus like this
new philosophy that is based on digitalism.
The show will be enriched by a press conference and a roundtable
on the theme of new frontiers in art after the advent of these
new technologies.
